Chispa and Changa go to a Jewish preschool. This means that they were very very well prepped for Passover this year, and were very very excited. Our house sports paper cups of wine, signs saying "HAPE PASOVR" in multicolor crayons, and, naturally, the 10 plagues, including dead cows. Cool,no? Our bathroom sports a trio of drawings of green frogs. Chispa initially wanted us to fill our house with pet frogs, like the plague, but settled for drawings.
Chispa has also turned her plastic locust-plague toy into a pet cricket, and it comes everywhere around the house with her presently.
We've also heard many choruses of Frogs in Your Hair, and Bang bang bang bang your Hammer.
The girls were so impatient for Passover, they were elated when it actually happened, and all 20 of our people sat down to Passover dinner at our house. It could qualify as pitched chaos, but it certainly also qualified as some crazy kinds of fun.
