So Chispa hasn't let me pick out clothes for her to wear since she was 2.5 or 3 years old I'd say. Now Changa has joined in the act.
Today, the first day of Passover vacation from preschool, Chispa chose to wear (for the 3rd day running, amazingly, it's still clean) her new pink tanktop swingshirt with the bow and flowers and matching shorts. Nevermind that it was breezy and 58F today. We inherited these NWT clothes from a friend, and I had let Chispa pick which ones she loved before we asked for them to be shipped along. Little did I know HOW much she loved this shirt.
Changa, on the other hand, marched downstairs in a hungry snit for breakfast sans clothing, and then was peeved she got maple syrup from her matzah brei on herself. I provided the clothing I'd brought downstairs for her when she said she was cold, but she vetoed that. Upon getting ready to leave, I dragged her into the new clothes. Green shirt with pockets, green print pants. Her favorite color. She was furious.
So what do I hear from the backseat as we drive to the gym? I have NEW shirt. It green, it have pockets on it. Ha ha. It so nice. Green my favorite color.
Score 2 for Mom? Everyone's happy in their clothes NOW, right?
