You know those days, the cold, dark ones where AF is due?

I'm having one of THOSE days. Good ole AF is due, but not showing up thanks to flaky 37 year old cycles, I've uncharacteristically nibbled all afternoon and am unsatisfied AND not really hungry, don't feel like cooking, and my eyes are crossing looking for used Honda Accords (2001 or 2002) or used Toyota Camrys (2001 or 2002) to replace our money pit 2001 Saab. It's costing us a solid $500-600 every month or two, and it needs to go. Consumer Reports was SO wrong on this one. I do NOT want to buy from a dealer, and could I just not have beige? If I ask nicely?

Chispa has completed her lovefest honeymoon at school, and is now mouthing off to her teacher, throwing fits, oh, and humming while she works and annoying her table mates such that they had to redo the tables. She's now with 3 other offending hummers, ha ha, all budding alpha females, so it's a good match actually. She made a tear prone little boy cry teasing him about something, so I'm glad she was moved before that got worse.

Today I got pulled aside to talk to the head of general studies AND the K teacher while Miss-Three, Changa, tantrumed. We gave up and took her royal three-ness to the playground so we could get a word in edgewise. Seemingly, Chispa's phase of stress and agitation has included inappropriate self-touching. We already are very careful about stating this is private to be done in PRIVATE, so we are all on the same page on that message. We discussed whether we needed to head back in for some more therapy, for the recent spate of agitation. Consensus seemed to be, maybe not necessary yet, maybe yes. We'll see, they all want to conference with us for the parent-teacher conference (head of general studies, school counselor, teacher).

See what I mean? One of those days.

So I'm "cooking" Mac and Cheese. And we'll just call it one of those days.
